Maritime Fires Pose Unique Threats
When a fire breaks out at sea, the challenges are far more complex than those encountered in a land-based emergency. Limited access, vessel stability concerns, confined spaces, hazardous cargoes, changing weather conditions and the ever-present risk of pollution demands a highly specialized response.
Resolve Marine's integrated approach combines firefighting and salvage expertise. Our specialists evaluate vessel condition, cargo hazards, fire behavior, environmental risks and stability factors simultaneously, enabling informed decision-making during rapidly evolving emergencies.
Supported by Resolve Marine's global network of response personnel, equipment depots and specialized equipment, our teams can mobilize quickly to incidents around the world.
When every minute matters, Resolve Marine stands ready to respond.
Resolve Maritime Academy
Resolve Marine's training academy at Port Everglades, Florida combines real-world classroom learning with live-action scenarios, taught by instructors who actively work in fire, EMT and response organizations. Instruction takes place aboard the T/V Vision, a 150-foot mock training vessel where simulations for shipboard firefighting, damage control, search & rescue and water ingress provide "as real as it gets" training.
Resolve Marine's trained personnel, including its core strike team, regularly train at the Academy and face live fire, real heat and smoke, confined spaces, low visibility and flooding in USCG, STCW and MCA courses that utilize industry-leading techniques, specialized equipment, pumps, foam and gear that matches real life emergency response situations.
In addition to Resolve Marine's own personnel, the Academy works with port authorities and municipalities, commercial vessels, cruise and yacht sector crews and other specialists seeking comprehensive training.
